Paradise built?
Twenty years ago Cancun meant nothing more to the world than another lonely Mexican town. Then the Mexican goverment came along, looking for a way to revitalize tourism to their nation. They found it in this lonely stretch of beach on the Caribbean Sea. Today Cancun is one of the great resort cities of the world. Whether you are looking for pristine beaches, wild clubs, scuba diving, snorkeling, archaeology, shopping, bullfights, or a multitude of other activities, you can find it here.
Michelle and I chose this destination for our vacation in 2002 because of the vast range of activities it offered.
